Welcome to The Cove Beach in Cape May, New Jersey. A great beach with fabulous sunset views, the Cove Beach is also a favorite of local and visiting surfers and kayakers. This beach is one of the most dynamically changing shorelines anywhere along the Jersey coast, frequently gaining or losing fifty to a hundred yards or more in width within weeks.
The Cove Beach is located in Cape May, a small seaside resort town on the southernmost tip of New Jersey. Cape May is noted for being a federally designated National Historic Landmark District, due to the 600 plus Victorian style homes that grace our streets. Cape May also is home to one of the top five commercial fishing fleets on the East Coast of the U.S. as well as the nation's only Basic Training facility for the U.S. Coast Guard.
This website is devoted to the enjoyment of the Cove Beach, whether you are here in Cape May or "virtually" visiting us on the web. We intend to continually add to this site, both photography and history, stories, anecdotes, etc. TheCoveBeach.Com is part of our CapeMayBeaches.Com website, which includes all of the beaches in the Cape May area. Please feel free to visit all of our websites and to send us your contribution, if you wish to have something posted on one of our sites, whether it be a photograph or a story, etc. |
